Documents gathering dust become notes
A PDF report that came in by email, a requirements document in Word, an article that deserves better than a browser tab left open for weeks. It all piles up in downloads and bookmarks. The day you need it, you know it exists, just not where.
What KISMO does
You drop the file into KISMO: a PDF, a Word document, plain text or a Markdown file, up to 50 MB. Audio and video recordings work too, up to 1 GB. Each file becomes a note, and several files can be dropped at once. The original document stays downloadable from the note: nothing is lost along the way.
For a web page, it's even quicker. You paste the link, KISMO reads the page and turns it into a note.
What you gain
What used to be one more file becomes content you can consult, in the same place as your meetings and your calls, filed in your folders and found by search. You prepare for a meeting by rereading the note of a requirements document rather than reopening the whole file. An article read online joins your workspace instead of staying in a tab. And the original is never far: it downloads from the note whenever you need to pass it along as is.
Going further
Folders, search, filing: it's all covered on The workspace. To make these contents pay off over time, see company memory.
